HOW DO I PAY? DO YOU ACCEPT MEDICAL INSURANCE?
Payments are processed online in our EHR program through Stripe. Medical Insurance is not accepted, but we do offer a superbill for you to request reimbursement from your insurance company depending on your benefits.
WHAT IS THE FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF THE SESSIONS?
Each session is 50-60 minutes. The frequency depends on each patient's need, but they are usually every 2 weeks. Keep in mind that more frequent sessions (weekly) are recommended for better outcomes.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY INITIAL CONSULTATION?
This will depend on the service and the reason for requesting services. You should have all the information and documents that may be relevant and useful. This will allow me to offer you a better, more efficient service or treatment.
WHAT IS THE LOCATION AND MODALITY OF SERVICES?
This is an online private practice, and most services are offered using SimplePractice as the EHR platform. Assessment services are provided at PlenaMente, LLC in San Juan, where I also supervised doctoral students.
ARE SERVICES WITH A LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST?
Yes. Dr. Rayza Maldonado is a licensed clinical psychologist in Puerto Rico only. Remember that attending health professionals duly accredited by the state and the appropriate agencies for each profession is essential.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP CONSULTATIONS OR WORKSHOPS?
